Bamboo Night View

As a part of the holiday season, Kyoto backlights the Sagano Bamboo forest in Arashiyama in a variety of colors. The result is a rather eerie walk through the colored shadows of bamboo under a dark sky. Whee!

This section of the forest was lit in purple, which came out as looking rather whiteish in the end.
Creepy and beautiful at the same time.
